Opening her chicken burger, Charleigh Matice discovered a swastika drawn on the bun.
In North Carolina, Charleigh Matice decides to take a break and have a snack at the nearest McDonald's.
She orders some chicken sandwich and opens it before eating it.
When picking the bun, she realizes that someone has drawn a swastika on it.
"Is this a joke? Does somebody really think they're funny? Many people died because of that symbol and it’s not something that should be taken lightly. It’s not something that should be thrown around" says she.
She shows the sign to the employees who offer replace her sandwich. She refuses since this whole thing made her feel sick and asks to be paid back.
Still in shock, she decided to warn the company and to express her disgust.
Charleigh quickly receives a response to her letter
McDonald's apologizes for this terrible joke and says they have fired the person who was responsible for this :
“We are very sorry for the service that our customers received, and to be clear we have terminated the employee who was involved. We do not tolerate that kind of behavior at McDonald's, and it's not what we stand for personally as owners. It is about providing the best level of service and care to our customers, and anything less than that is unacceptable to us.”
She will probably not go back too soon !
